The challenge
As a next-generation broadband provider, offering reliable full fibre broadband packages to homes and businesses across the UK, BeFibre’s senior leadership team wanted to host a corporate ‘away day’ for its internal teams.
With the majority of BeFibre’s team working on a remote basis, the goal of the away day was to bring together all departments across the business to inspire teams to work together – and to achieve their full potential in line with the organisation’s sales objectives.

Our solution
While already leading media relations and providing content support for the marketing team, The Bigger Boat was tasked with managing the full event plan and offering on-site support throughout the day.
With the ideal location confirmed, we organised every aspect of the event and its agenda – including research, planning breakout sessions for staff, and sourcing and securing motivational keynote speaker Richard McCann – all within the specified budget.
In the months leading up to the away day, our team made sure all requirements with the venue were correct, including logistics, AV equipment, catering, and health and safety. Keen to ensure everything was in place for a truly streamlined delivery, we also provided support with setup the night before the event.
Finally, we took care of designing and printing a multitude of promotional assets for the event, including branded merchandise for employees.
