Mizaic is a leading developer and provider of a clinical content services platform for the NHS, transforming all forms of unstructured patient data into meaningful insights for the clinicians. Formerly IMMJ Systems, Mizaic needed help launching its new brand (created by another agency) strategically, increasing awareness while reducing the number of people searching for the old name.
The challenge
After a successful rebrand with another agency, Mizaic needed our expertise to develop a communications strategy that would embed its new identity in the market, establish its authority in healthtech, and position it top of mind for NHS decision-makers. Mizaic turned to The Bigger Boat to manage this transition, trusting our integrated expertise to increase its visibility. Beginning with a new website that worked alongside the positioning Mizaic had achieved as a healthtech leader, we then crafted various supporting PR campaigns to boost awareness, organised events, and implemented a robust marketing strategy to drive new leads.

Our solution
Partnering with Mizaic’s agency, we developed an integrated strategy to increase brand awareness and leads. First, we built a future-focused website, with keyword-led articles ready to go live with the site to support its performance. Our migration strategy not only redirected traffic from the old IMMJ systems site, but also included the creation of new landing pages, paid search campaigns, and keyword-driven blogs designed to improve SEO performance and communicate the brand name.
We amplified our approach with a PR launch, including an exclusive feature with Digital Health, a targeted healthtech guide that was pitched to the media, and a tailored event at The Shard. We provided ongoing PR and email marketing, integrating Microsoft Dynamics to build templates and automations that aligned with Mizaic’s strategic goals.
Within just four months, brand searches for the new name surpassed those for the old. Branded search volume saw an 87% year-on-year increase, organic traffic surged by 105%, and conversion rates rose by 141%. We secured national media coverage for Mizaic, and our gated content successfully attracted qualified NHS leads.
