The Bigger Boat wins the Northern Digital Awards
We’re absolutely thrilled to announce we brought an award back to TBB HQ from the Northern Digital Awards 2020. We took the prize for Best eCommerce Website for our work with renowned toy manufacturer Little Tikes.
Some of the crew joined more than 400 fellow digital marketing professionals at the ceremony, which was held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on January 30th, to celebrate digital marketing in the North. We donned our finery for the glitzy event hosted by TV presenter Jenny Powell.
We beat off tough competition – we were up against four other organisations in the Best eCommerce Website category – but the win made it a fantastic night for our team. And it couldn’t have come at a better time. As we look forward to turning 10 next month, it’s a great way to kick off the celebrations.
Our work with Little Tikes has already been recognised by the industry with a win at the 2018 Digital Impact Awards for Best Digital Rebrand.
The judging panel said of our website build and ongoing projects with Little Tikes: “The judges felt that The Bigger Boat had a challenging audience to target but they managed to achieve this particularly well. [We were] impressed with how they worked with a US company, but the UK had taken the lead, which is hard to accomplish.”
Our creative director Doug Main said: “We’re over the moon to win at the Northern Digital Awards and receive recognition for the hard work that all the team puts into this account – it’s one that crosses every department and really shows off what we’re about and great at.”
